Maple is the most commonly used wood to make cutting boards. Native to Eastern Canada and the Eastern U.S., this most prevalent of hardwoods has a very stable grain structure ideally suited for cutting boards. Our end grain wood boards are 1/4” thicker to maximize strength and stability.

  • Unique, curved rectangle shape.

  • Hybrid juice groove design includes groove on three sides and enlarged corner reservoir to collect juice and prevent overflows.

  • One side of board cutting surface is flat for easy transfer from board to bowl or plate.

  • Proprietary non-marking, non-slip silicone feet keep board in place.

  • Total board height including feet is 2 1/8”.

Please note that while we keep limited quantities of our more popular boards stocked, most of our boards are made as they are ordered. Typical production time for each unique piece is generally two to three weeks. Sizing is not exact because our boards are handmade with minor variations that result from the finishing process.
